Mission Statement.
The mission for A 2nd chance Ranch sanctuary is to help animals in need of a soft landing to live out their life if unadoptable and/or work on being a good companion till the right family comes along.
Matching an animal’s or pet’s energy and temperament to a family’s lifestyle is most important for a successful story.
A 2nd Chance Ranch Sanctuary is committed to work closely with other rescues and shelter to help fight the over population of cats and dogs.
Adoption Policy
We try to protect the foster pet by vetting the potential adopting family and signing a contract.
ADOPTION POLICIES
Housing check:
If you rent your home, you must provide landlord approval or a copy of your
lease showing pets are allowed.
Home visits:
We require an in-person home visit to check for safety hazards.
Current pets:
We require your other pets to be up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed or
neutered.
Fencing:
We require adopters to have a secured fenced yard.
Adoption contract: You must sign a binding legal agreement agreeing to provide proper medical care, food, and humane treatment.
Return policy: If you cannot keep the dog, you must return it to the original shelter or rescue rather than rehoming it privately.
