Our Mission
Mutt Muffins is a small 501c3 non-profit in Pittsburg, which is watching out for the well being of animals in the community,l
We help mostly strays or owner surrenders so that we can keep them OUT of the shelters which is traumatizing.
Next they are spayed / neutured, vaccinated and micro chipped while they are posted on Petfinder
Mutt Muffins is going to be baking treats and muffins for pets and the proceeds will go directly to the non-profit.
There is the mis-conception that rescues get everything "free" which would be really NICE but it's far from the truth. We have to pay for EVERYTHING just like you do,
We don’t have just 1 or 2 dogs we have many mouths to feed so it's even MORE expensive

Adoption Policy
1) First is a meet and greet so people can visit the dog in person
2) If it goes well and it might be a “match” which we always hope it is….then we go ahead with an application
3) Once that's been reviewed AND approved we then make an appt for a home visit so we can bring the dog over to see if everyone’s comfortable ….
4) And if it’s a YES and the adopters are ready then we can finalize the adoption which includes filling out an Adoption Agreement and there is an adoption fee
5) We also recommend foster-to-adopt for 30 days to make sure it's a good before adopting ….
