Our Mission
National Cat Protection Society was founded by the late-career humane officer, Mr. C. Richard Calore, in 1968. We rehome owner-relinquished cats, provide lifetime care for senior cats, and educate the community on treating all animals humanely. The National Cat Protection Society is a shelter whose mission is dedicated to the protection and welfare of cats.
