Our Mission
Our Los Angeles based rescue group, Animal Wellness Foundation rescues cats and dogs found in situations of abuse, neglect or abandonment, as well as in city and county shelters. We foster, socialize and rehabilitate our rescue animals with a network of staff and volunteers seeing each animal into their best matched forever home.

Adoption Policy
Our adoption process was designed to help ensure that we select the best homes for our animals.
The process includes a first-step questionnaire (linked in each profile) to learn about your home and lifestyle in order to see if a certain animal would work well in your family.
If it feels like a great match based on your completed questionnaire, we will contact you for a meeting or video call, followed by a home visit.
We take special care to match the right home with the right pet, ensuring a lifetime of love for both the pet and the adopter. Please have patience in getting a response and understand that we will respond in the order received.
