Vanderpump Dogs
Our Mission
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, founded in 2016, is a 501c3 dog rescue organization, working on both a domestic and international front to help create a better world for dogs globally.
Adoption Policy
We are beginning to tackle overpopulation in Los Angeles County through our Vanderpump Dog Rescue Center. At our flagship West Hollywood location we will focus on the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs to loving homes. We hope to have a greater social impact on the perception of shelter dogs and encourage adopting instead of shopping.
As a New Hope Partner, we work with the city of Los Angeles to relieve overpopulation. We pull from the different kill shelters in hopes to give these dogs a second chance at life. Our puppies are pulled by our rescue team and taken to receive medical care right away. After they are cleared by our partner veterinarians, they enter into our center where they are given a makeover and put up for adoption!
We work with several professionals in the industry to ensure the dog is ready to go home. When potential adopters come in, they first fill out an interest form. The forms are approved by our executive team who makes sure the adopter is ready and equipped for a new dog. After the initial paperwork is approved, a home check is done. This is where we ensure the home is a safe and healthy environment for the rescue animal. After the home check is passed, the dog is ready to go home with their new parents and live happily ever after in their new forever home!
