Our Mission
The Amber and Adam Tarshis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to advancing animal welfare and reducing animal suffering. We focus on fostering, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals to help them find permanent, loving homes. Our work also includes funding spay and neuter programs and developing ethical solutions to control animal overpopulation, while promoting education and advocacy for compassionate treatment of all animals.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption policies are designed to ensure that every animal is placed in a safe, permanent, and loving home. Potential adopters are carefully screened through an application and interview process that evaluates their experience with pets, living situation, and ability to meet the specific needs of the animal. We provide guidance and support throughout the adoption process, including assisting with making safe introductions to any existing pets. Our goal is to match each animal with a home where they will thrive long-term.
