Our Mission
Change for Chimps is poised to be a respected authority on animal welfare and conservation, creating a future built on compassion, education, and ethical responsibility.
Outside of our work with retired biomedical research animals, we assist companion animals with sterilization, vaccinations, resources and forever homes.
Adoption Policy
There is no one size fits all formula for placing an animal. Each animal has specific needs, and we want to ensure an adopter is prepared to provide for that animal for its entire life. We look at an adopter’s lifestyle to confirm it aligns with the animals’ requirements. Lifestyle includes but is not limited to:
- Pet experience
- Work schedule
- Family size and dynamics
- Activity level
- Living situation
