Urban Panthers Rescue
Our Mission
Urban Panthers Rescue's primary mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for cats in need and to promote responsible pet ownership through education and community outreach.
In addition to rescuing cats in need, Urban Panthers Rescue is also committed to addressing the root cause of cat overpopulation in Southern California by actively engages in TNR programs for stray cats. TNR is a humane and effective method of controlling cat populations that involves Trapping, spaying or Neutering, and Returning feral cats to their natural habitats. By implementing TNR, Urban Panthers Rescue is not only reducing the number of homeless cats on the streets but also improving their overall health and well-being.
Through our comprehensive approach to cat welfare, Urban Panthers Rescue is striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both cats and the communities they call home by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats that would otherwise face a bleak future.
Adoption Policy
Step 1: Potential adopters must fill out an Adoption Application. We will reach out at our earliest convenience (typically 1-3 days).
Step 2: If your application is approved, we will then conduct a virtual homecheck.
Step 3: If your homecheck is approved, we will move forward with a meet-and-greet.
Step 4: If that goes well, and both parties are interested in moving forward, we will coordinate adoption logistics.
