BBR was founded in 2009 by Sandy Polly in honor of her beloved border collie, Bandit, who she rescued at 3 weeks old in 2002. Adoption Policy

The best way to meet the dogs listed on Petfinder is to visit us at Petsmart every weekend.  If there is a certain dog you would like to meet, please call us and let us know so we can be sure to bring it that weekend.  Please text us so we can set up a time for you to meet your new best friend if you cannot make it to Petsmart on weekends.  We are a volunteer based organization, which means we have full time jobs and families too, so please understand if we don't get back to you right away.  Texting is much more efficient for us to meet your needs.

We have a few simple forms for you to fill out.  We will also ask you a series of questions to make sure your personality and lifestyle is right for the dog.  We want to ensure you are a perfect match.  If you decide that the dog you chose isn't right for your family, we will take the dog back, but no refund is issued.  We never want to see the dogs we save end up at the pound!  We look forwar
