No Stray Left Behind

Apple Valley, CA

Our Mission

No Stray Left Behind is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 dog rescue in Southern California whose primary goal is to reduce the amount of strays on the streets and being euthanized in shelters and to inform people of the benefits of spaying and neutering their pets.  Every dog, before being adopted out, is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots/rabies, and microchipped.  All of our dogs are in foster homes, not a shelter, to ensure they get proper socialization and rehabilitation as needed.  If you are interested in fostering a dog, please contact us.

Adoption Policy

To adopt a dog from No Stray Left Behind, first there is an adoption application.  Once that is approved, we will contact you within 1-3 days to meet you and any dogs you have in a neutral area, such as a dog park.  If everybody gets along, we will do a home visit.  Finally, there is an adoption donation, and you have a new family member!

No Stray Left Behind will be at PetSmart holding adoption events every Sunday, the location is on our website’s main page.  If you are interested in volunteering, please e-mail us and let us know!  We need people to come walk and play with the dogs.  Also, we are still looking for foster homes, if you are willing to become a foster parents, please contact us.
