Adoption Policy

All our adoptions require an application, home check and a 30-day foster period. The purpose of the foster period is to ensure this is a perfect feline-human match! We want our felines to thrive in their new homes and we want to make sure the adoptive parent falls madly in love with their chosen kitty before an adoption is finalized. All kitties adopted from Hearts That Purr are automatically enrolled in our Feline Guardian program at no cost to the new owner. Also, we will reimburse the new adopter up to $75 per year for the life of the cat to help with the cost of an annual vet exam and vaccinations. We generally do not charge any adoption fees for most of our adoptable felines, but a donation is appreciated.
