Our Mission

At Pound PuppyZ, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of rescue dogs and their future families through compassion, care, and commitment. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, unwanted, and abused dogs, rehabilitate them with love and patience, and connect them with forever homes where they will thrive. We believe in the power of second chances and the unbreakable bond between humans and animals. By raising awareness, fostering community partnerships, and advocating for animal welfare, we strive to create a world where every dog is valued and cherished. Together, we can make a difference, one paw at a time.

Adoption Policy

After receiving an adoption application, we forward the application to the foster of that dog. We feel the fosters know the dog best and are the best person to decide the right match for their foster dog. Once the foster receives the application if they feel it may be a good fit, they reach out to the applicant to chat, answer any questions and potentially set up a meet. The next steps are to have the dog meet all of the members of the home and all of the pets in the home. We want to ensure that all of the animals get along and are a good fit. Prior to any dog being adopted, there must be a home check done. Once all the steps are complete we sign the contract and the dog goes to their new family.
