Homeless Pets Lifeline - Friends of the shelter is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to oppose cruelty in all forms and encourage humane handling and care of animals, advance spay/neuter programs as a non- lethal solution to the stray, unwanted and abandoned pet population, and strive for responsible adoptions and ownership. Top priorities will be: * A call for compassion: * Make spay/neuter affordable to control the animal over-population: * Help end the killing of healthy adoptable companion pets: * Education on humane care of animals: * Education to dispel myths: * Community involvement in doing OUR part to fix the problem: Adopt a pet and make a friend for life.
