Our Mission
Our volunteers foster the dogs & cats that come into Pocahontas Animal Control. This facility only keeps dogs and cats for 14 days before they are euthanized. Therefore, we put them in foster homes and look for good adopters to give them their much deserved forever home! Adoption Policy
-Current pets up to date on shots and spayed/neutered
-Will keep them indoors or in appropriate size fencing
-Good references
-Willing to maintain routine medical care for pet
-If renting, get permission from landlord
-No rehoming of pets. We prefer that you try to work it out and take the pets with you! They can be a 10 to 15 year commitment!
