Our Mission

****Our address is 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. Our center is 10 minutes from Walgreens in Troy, AL - one turn off of Hwy 167.****

Troy Animal Rescue Project was formed in March of 2014. Since this time, we have assisted in the placement of thousands of pets across south Alabama.

Troy Animal Rescue Project is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill, volunteer rescue organization serving Pike County, AL and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to rescuing pets left homeless, pets given up by their owners, pets in abuse/neglect situations, and pets at risk for euthanasia at local shelters.

We are completely run by private donations. We do not receive any funding from our city, county, or state governments.

Adoption Policy

All pets that are adopted through Troy Animal Rescue Project have been fully vetted (age appropriately). Dogs come spayed/neutered, rabies vaccinated, distemper/parvo vaccinated, fecal tested, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and have been given heartworm/flea preventative. There is a $50 adoption fee for dogs. Cats come spayed/neutered, rabies vaccinated, DRC vaccinated, FELV/FIV tested negative (unless otherwise stated), fecal tested, dewormed, and given monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Adoption fees for dogs and cats are $50.
