Our Mission
FOUR STEPPING STONES MISSION STATEMENT
4SSR is dedicated to these four steps to help pets in need.
Step 1) RESCUE AND INTAKE: To help pets in need by going through the intake process.
Step 2) VETTING AND DECOMPRESSION: To get Pets to a trusted Veterinarian and address any physical needs. To place in a loving foster home where they can feel safe so their true personalities can shine.
Step 3) PERSONALITY AND BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT: While in a foster home we help the dog learn to feel loved and safe. We teach house manners and address any behavioral issues. We are dedicated to giving the pet the time and training necessary to successfully place the pet into a forever home.
Step 4) To place the pet into a loving, responsible forever home through applications, interviews, references,meet and greets, home visits, and adoptions.
Adoption Policy
Adoptee fills out an application and if aproved we do an interview over the phone. we then make an appointment for a meet and greet and if all goes well with the adoptee, family, and other pets they do a 2 week trial foster to adopt. if its a great fit the adoption is finalized and the pet has found its happily ever .
