RUFF Rescuers United for Furbabies

RUFF Rescue is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to animal welfare in Walker County, Alabama. We provide a safe haven for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals, serving as a stepping stone from the local shelter to reputable rescue partners or loving permanent homes. Through fostering, veterinary care, transportation, and adoption, we help animals receive the care and opportunities they need. RUFF also promotes responsible pet ownership through education and access to affordable spay/neuter services. For more than 12 years, our volunteers have worked to improve outcomes for animals in our community.
