Adoption Policy
We do a vet check and a home check for all adopters. One or more of our Volunteers spend a fair amount of time with a potential adopter during an adoption event or a meet and greet. We do follow-up calls after an adoption to insure all is going well. As part of our Adoption routine, each new adopter receives a folder with known medical histories, a flyer describing what to expect during the first 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months, and a flyer displaying doggy body language. Our rescue group tries to go the extra mile to make sure our dogs and potential adopters are compatible.
