Meows and Mutts Rescue
Our Mission
Meows and Mutts is a cat and dog rescue organization located in Mobile, Alabama. Our primary mission is to rescue animals from the community who are in need of placement as orphans, owner surrenders, and shelter occupants. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption and we thrive on the partnership of northern rescues who accept transports to allow us the capacity to take in more animals.
Adoption Policy
We have an adoption application that asks specific questions that help us to determine whether the cat or dog would be a good fit for the potential adopter. We make sure that they will keep the cats in doors and not declaw, that they have an established vet or are looking for one. We also do meet and greets via zoom or face-time to establish that the home is a safe environment for the potential pet.
