Our Mission
All The Paws Animal Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats through rescue, rehabilitation, prevention, and community support. We rescue animals from high-intake shelters, including those at risk of euthanasia, and place them in loving foster homes where they receive medical care and individualized attention. We work with trusted transport partners to connect our animals with adopters in northern communities where demand for adoptable pets is greater. We also intervene before unwanted litters enter the shelter system by helping pet owners spay and neuter their animals, often covering the cost ourselves. Through responsible adoptions, education, and collaboration, we are committed to reducing pet overpopulation and giving every animal the opportunity for a safe, healthy, and loving forever home.
Adoption Policy
We believe every animal deserves a safe, loving, lifelong home. Our adoption process is designed to create successful, lasting matches based on each pet’s unique needs and each family’s lifestyle. Applicants complete an adoption application and screening process, including veterinary and landlord verification when applicable. We consider factors such as activity level, other pets, children, housing, and experience to ensure the best fit. All pets are spayed or neutered (or adopted with a mandatory spay/neuter agreement when medically necessary), age-appropriately vaccinated, and receive appropriate veterinary care before adoption. We remain a resource for our adopters throughout their pet’s life and require that any pet adopted from our rescue be returned to us if they can no longer be cared for.
