Our Mission
The Kenai Animal Shelter strives to make the community safer for the individuals and animals within the City of Kenai. This will be accomplished through public education, spaying/neutering, and ensuring our staff continues to operate in a humane and safe manner in accordance with city, state and national standards regarding animal welfare.
Adoption Policy
Animals arrive at our shelter daily. Animals that would make suitable family pets are made available for adoption. Fees for adopting an animal run from close to $20.00 to a little over $200.00 and in some cases higher. The total cost is dependent upon the level of care required for that animal. All animals will be Spayed/Neutered, Microchipped, and up-to-date on Rabies.
