Félins-Secours
Our Mission
Félins-Secours is a registered Non-Profit created in 2021. Our mission is to welcome strays, abandoned cat or kittens mostly from the eastern side of Montreal, Repentigny, Terrebonne and the Richelieu Valley and offer them a second chance at a dignified life.
We operate through a network of foster families to ensure proper socialization while looking for permanent adoptive homes. As part as our commitment for responsible adoptions, we promote city registration of cats. We offer comprehensive veterinarian care to all admitted cats/kittens. We believe in respecting the cat rights to a good quality of life, therefore, we might have to make some difficult decisions from time to time.
At Félins-Secours, humans rescue cats, but it is rather these same felines that end up helping humans. We build inspiring and meaningful mentoring relationships for our volunteers to promote self-esteem and empowerment. Caring for cats also means taking care of ourselves!
