Sauvetage Lapins Errants

Our organization focuses on educating the public about stray domestic rabbits in the wild and rescuing those who have been abandoned on the street. We want to offer rabbits a resource and a safe place off the streets that didn't exist before. We initially were asked to help rescue a colony of rabbits in collaboration with the city of Châteauguay and the SPCA Roussillon. Once we had rescued all 38, we decided to build a small team of volunteers to continue rescuing domestic rabbits on the South Shore, North Shore and in Montreal. Our goal is to continue the mission we had given ourselves by helping the colony of stray rabbits in Châteauguay; to help these animals so often abandoned outside.
