Taffy's Legacy Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation

Waterloo, ON

Our Mission

Taffy's Legacy Canine Rescue & Rehabilitation was founded in loving memory of the greatest American Bulldog that ever was. With her kind demeanor, Taffy touched everyone she met. She was a registered therapy dog and an amazing "bull breed" ambassador. Sadly, her time on earth was cut short at just 9 years old due to cancer. Her legacy lives on in the many dogs she helped assess/save for Friendly Giants Dog Rescue. Taffy worked her magic on some of the most challenging dogs, and helped them transform into model family pets.

TLC aims to save dogs from neglect, abuse and abandonment. Our focus will be on power breeds and those dogs suffering from health or behavioural issues. TLC is not a rehoming agency, and will not be accepting owner surrenders.

We have an extensive application process to find the best match for the dogs in our care, and for your family member. Love the kind of dogs we get in but don't see a fit right now? Apply to be an approved adopter to be matched with a future dog we intake!
