Our Mission
Dogwood Animal Rescue (formerly Dorset Rescue Kittens) is an Ontario based charity specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of cats coming from outdoor living situations, as well as rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and even pigs! We are a dedicated group of volunteers relying on donations to keep our program running in order to save hundreds of animals annually.
Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting an animal, please fill out the adoption application form https://www.dogwoodanimalrescue.com/kitten-application . Once the application has been reviewed, we will follow up with an adoption phone call to discuss specific details as well as call your veterinarian for a reference. If the adoption is approved, we will co-ordinate a day for your pet to go home.
*Please note that only those who are chosen for an adoption interview will be contacted*
