Pariah INDog Rescue PIR is a self-funded non-profit rescue founded in 2011 on the basis of love and compassion for the indigenous puppies and dogs found on the streets of India. Facing abuse, hunger, illness, malnutrition, danger from vehicles and rickshaws, these pups and dogs face a limited chance of survival. . The rescues are fully vet checked and have their vaccinations, deworming, flea/tic control, microchip, and health certificates as well as an international passport. The Pariah INDog, also known as the Desi dog locally, has evolved through natural selection over centuries. This breed is very alert, intelligent, agile, and social. Highly active outdoors, it is very calm indoors.
