Our Mission

I have many (since 2000) years of volunteering at different shelters and with various rescue organizations; coupled with fostering dogs throughout the years as well. I also helped with adopt-a-thons for shelters and then in Oct 2014 started doing my own adopt-a-thons for rescues and fosters I had in my own home. This experience and love of dogs have brought me to the decision to create my own rescue, and to find homes for dogs through my rescue. The intention is to remain small and take time with people through discussion to find a good match of family to dog.

Adoption Policy

Once you have contacted us, we will ask a few questions over the phone and then you will be sent a Pre-adoption form or you can find our application form at dogsunlimitedrescue.ca website, then just email the form to us at dogsunlimitedrescue@yahoo.ca. The application form is reviewed and then someone will contact you regarding your chosen dog to arrange a home visit, provided you are a good match for that particular dog. If we feel your home is the suitable place for this particular dog we will contact you to proceed with the adoption.The adoption process consists of foster to adopt, a 2 week trial period before adoption is finalized to ensure a good match for both you and the dog. It is not always possible to meet the dog before hand, due to lack of fosters available to us, the dog will go directly into your home upon arrival. However if we do have a dog in foster then we will make arrangements for the entire family to meet the dog. Adoption donations range from $1600. - $1900 which can change due to unexpected expenses..
