All cats listed for adoption have been:
Spayed /Neutered,
Tested for FIV / FeLV,
Microchipped,
Fully vaccinated - FVRCP & Rabies,
Fully Dewormed,
Received Flea Treatment /Prevention,
Loved & Socialized!
Our shelter is located in Delhi Ontario and we have many cats/ kittens, both at the shelter as well as in nearby foster homes in Norfolk County including Simcoe, Port Dover, Port Rowan, Port Ryerse, Tillsonburg, Etc.
We also have a few foster homes located in Brantford and Woodstock.
After we receive your completed online Adoption Application you will be contacted within 5 business days. (Most likely sooner!) Those approved to adopt will be able to arrange to meet the kitty they are interested in. We often receive multiple applications for each kitty and always try to find the best match for both the kitty and the adopter.
A successful meet & greet with the kitty is followed by a scheduled meeting to complete the necessary documents with an Adoptions Volunteer. Advice about helping the kitty adjust in a new environment as well as information about feeding schedules, along with food samples, microchip transfer and all vet paperwork is given/explained. Adoption fees are due at the Adoption Meeting by cash or etransfer to PCON.
Our Adoptions contract is signed by both the PCON representative and the adopter. After the meeting the kitty goes home and we post the happy adoption!
