Our Mission
Our mission is to provide compassionate care, shelter, and a second chance to companion animals in need. We work to ensure every animal receives appropriate medical care, is spayed or neutered, and is given the opportunity to find a safe, loving, and permanent home. We also support our community through responsible pet ownership education, rehoming assistance, and spay/neuter initiatives that help reduce the number of unwanted animals.
Adoption Policy
Once a completed adoption application is received, we review the application and follow up with the applicant, their landlord when applicable, and their veterinarian. This process allows us to verify information, answer questions, and assess whether the animal is a suitable match for the applicant and their household.
Submission of an application does not guarantee adoption, and the shelter reserves the right to decline an application when the home is not considered an appropriate fit for the animal. Applicants must also have existing pets that are current on vaccinations or have been examined by a veterinarian within the previous 12 months.
