Working in partnership with First Nations Communities, our mission is to promote and support responsible pet ownership through a number of community lead initiatives. Working together, our goal is to make communities safer by removing stray and unwanted dogs, spay and neutering remaining dogs, assist in providing community members with the education, tools and supplies they need to ensure their pets are properly cared for.
What we do:
100% foster based and volunteer run, Northern Troopers Dog Rescue partners with local and out of province rescues to send dogs identified as unwanted or strays from First Nations Communities to start their second chances. Incoming dogs are placed into temporary foster homes before departing to their new rescues.
