    Our Mission

Rabbitats is based in Richmond, BC and aims to save the lives of a large number of homeless, abandoned and feral rabbits by finding them homes in colonies and sanctuaries. We also take in newly-abandoned and surrendered house rabbits and foster or adopt them out to private homes.   We are dedicated to raising awareness of rabbits as house pets, to the care and shelter of abandoned and neglected rabbits, and to education regarding the problems of rabbit breeding, selling and their care. We love volunteers! We are always looking for foster homes to provide a safe place and stability for these rabbits. Please fill out an application form found on our website.

    Adoption Policy

We would love to work with you to find the best rabbit for you, like dogs and cats, rabbits are full of personality. Whether your ideal companion is active and outgoing or relaxed and shy we want to find the best fit for your specific home. All our rabbits are spayed, neutered and vaccinated. If you are new to the world of rabbit care, we are able to provide you with a list of the basics to keep your new house mate comfortable, and your foster coordinator is always ready to answer any questions you may have. We do ask you to supply perishable items like hay and greens. ADOPT https://rabbitats.org/adopt/ FOSTER https://rabbitats.org/foster/ Many of our adoptable rabbits can be visited at the Bunny Cafe https://www.bunnycafe.ca/ We hope to see you there!
