PB & Chi Dog Rescue Society is private foster based rescue that saves dogs at risk of death, illness, famine, and who are need of a loving forever home. Primarily we help dogs in Canada, the US, Korea, and Mexico but we believe rescue has no borders.
We are a Registered Canadian Charity!
To be considered as a foster/adoptive home you must:
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• If you rent your home you must have consent from your landlord to have a dog.
• Have all dogs and cats in the home spayed or neutered, if they are 6 months or older, unless there
are medical reasons for not doing so.
• Have all dogs in the home up to date on vaccinations.
To start the foster/adoption process you must submit a completed application and agree to have a homecheck completed. PB & Chi will then forward your contact information to one of our trusted volunteers to schedule a home check with you. If distance is a factor we will let you know ASAP if your application needs to be denied due to our inability to find a volunteer. The volunteer will need to see the areas of the home where the dog will be allowed and also visit with family members and current pets. Upon approval you are
able to be invited to closed events, as well as meet and foster our dogs that are best suited for your home.
All adopting homes MUST complete a 2 week foster period before being able to adopt the dog. Everyone who is considering adopting a larger dog MUST complete mandatory training class with one of our partnered trainers. PB & Chi covers the cost of this and it is required before being able to adopt.
PB & Chi dogs come with: crate, bed, bowls, leash, harness/collar, food (2 week supply), and toy, as well as a training session (required for power breed adopters). Our dogs are completely vetted: up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
Thank you so much for considering opening your home and heart to a rescue dog!
