Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue, protect, rehabilitate and rehome companion animals in crisis, ensure healthy pets through education, and advocacy and inspire a community where the animal-human bond is celebrated and nurtured.
Adoption Policy
1. If you would like to adopt an EARS animal, start by filling out an Adoption Application. This does not commit you to adopting the animal.
2. Our team will review the application and reply to the applicant as quickly as possible with the application status.
We are a volunteer-run, so please allow 3-5 days for a reply.
3. Once your application is approved, we will put the prospective adoptive family in touch with the foster family to arrange a “meet and greet”. This is required for dogs but may not be necessary for cats.
4. If all parties are in favour of the adoption (EARS adoption committee, foster family, and prospective adoptive family), you might be able to take your new animal home the same day or you may need to arrange a mutually beneficial time with the foster home.
