Udon's Story
Udon is a ~10 year old grade pony who stands around 14 hands. Udon was used in our riding lesson program for intermediate riders. He is looking for a step down from the lesson program.
Udon can walk/trot/canter, but has a buck into the canter. He has been vetted, and received injections into his right hock and stifle, which have made him more comfortable.
Udon is happy to hack around the fields or work in an arena. He has a very sweet personality, puppy dog like with a good brain and very willing to try new tasks! On the ground Udon is easy to handle, he stands tied for grooming, tacking and at the mounting block. He is good for sprays and the hose, and has been enjoying in-hand games with the camp kids!
He is barefoot and is well behaved for the vet and farrier.

In the field Udon can only go out with geldings, and cannot share a fence line with mares. He tends to be high in the pecking order and dominant with the other horses at meal time. Udon can live out 24/7 with a run-in shed or be stalled without an issue.

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming.
