Ruth's Story
Ruth is a beautiful mare who came to us through auction thin and in need of a fresh start. With consistent nutrition and care, she has truly blossomed — filling out to a healthy weight and showing just how much she enjoys being around people.

She is easy to handle and has good ground manners. Ruth ties well, leads respectfully, and loads into a trailer without fuss. She stands quietly for saddling and has been comfortable carrying weight in the saddle. Now that she is at a healthy weight and maintaining on alfalfa (with just a little senior feed as needed), she is ready to continue progressing.

Ruth has done well for her most recent farrier visits and is currently standing quietly for trims. As she continues to build strength and condition, we are optimistic about her potential under saddle. Our instinct is that she has previous riding experience, and we look forward to seeing that confirmed as her training advances.

Ruth is looking for a home that will appreciate her steady nature, continue thoughtful conditioning, and enjoy watching her confidence grow.
