Ruth's Story

Ruth is a beautiful roan who came to use through auction, very thin and needing some hope. She has since put on a ton of weight and with it has shown her love for people.

She has shown that she knows what a saddle is, doesn’t mind when you put it on, has decent ground manners, ties very well, leads and loads into a trailer. We have put weight in the saddle but have not ridden her yet as we are still working on her weight. She can have opinions on picking up her feet but with steady and calm correction will pick up all four for farrier.

Ruth is looking for a home that will continue to pamper her and be willing to feed grain until her weight is where it should be. As she gains weight, we will continue to evaluate her, but we have a gut feeling that she is probably broke to ride.
