Rosie's Story
Rosie came to us wild in February 2024 from the USFS Devils Garden CA wild horse territory. She is a 2 year old mustang who suffered a luxated sacrum when wild. Due to this she will only be adopted as a companion horse. This does not prevent her from running, being happy, and pain free. Rosie is completely gentled meaning she is easy to catch/halter, lead, load, picks up her hooves, can be touched all over, can be stalled, wears a fly mask/boots, and is as sweet as can be. She absolutely loves people and other horses. Rosie is completely up to date with her vaccines, coggins, and dental. She is very sweet and will make an amazing companion and best friend.

Rosie is currently fostered at Strides of Hope in CT. Rosie participates in equine assisted psychotherapy. Her foster mom reported the following " She has done over 30 sessions with clients working with people who have never been around horses to my long term clients. She will pick up all four feet at liberty no halter or need to be tied, she has played with everything from the leaf blower in her face, our skeleton, to a beach umbrella ten feet over her head, she laid down with me last night and is absolutely adored by my clients. She loves running in the arena and is great in the same paddock as Luna and pudge. Literally love this mare.
