Rohan's Story
Rohan is a registered Dutch Warmblood gelding who was an owner surrender at the end of 2025. He is 19 years old and stands 15.1 hands tall.
While Rohan is very well schooled, he needs a confident, experienced person who is looking to keep him in consistent work in a riding ring.
When presented with new situations, or anything he deems scary, Rohan likes to exit the scene in a fast fashion, and this makes him unsuitable to be a trail horse.
Currently our trainers are working on clicker training with him, which he loves! Rohan is a smart, sweet boy, not a mean bone in his body even when he is worried or worked up. He still enjoys having a job, even if its only a few days a week.
In his past, Rohan has gone to dressage shows, dabbled in XC jumping, and to the horse park. He's not the bravest of horses and needs the right person to be the brave one of the duo.
He is an easy keeper, barefoot, but does crib. He cannot wear a cribbing collar unless you want to see him do all the tricks to get it off in the pasture.
Rohan prefers 24/7 turnout and can go out with mares or geldings. He is playful and can be dominant in the herd, but would love to have an equally playful friend.

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
