Primrose's Story
2009 14.2HH Brown/White Paint Quarter Horse Mare

Primrose came to us from a neglect case, but quickly settled in and revealed her bold, curious personality. She's affectionate and companion-oriented—truly an “in-your-pocket” kind of horse who would happily follow you around all day.

Primrose is currently undergoing a veterinary assessment to better understand the extent of her vision. Her blue eyes make her sensitive to light, and she has chronic uveitis, which is managed with a prescription fly mask and medicated eye treatments given three times a week.

She has begun groundwork training and, while she can be pushy at times, she's already showing progress with respect for personal space and responsiveness to pressure and release. While her riding potential hasn’t yet been determined, Primrose shows promise and will benefit from a patient, experienced adopter who can continue her training at her own pace.

Primrose is currently barefoot and does best on a dry lot to help manage her weight. She truly thrives in a social setting and would do best in a home where she can bond with both equine companions and her humans.

Adoption Fee: $900

Apply today at: https://form.jotform.com/231711475494156
