Onyx's Story
Onyx is a truly breathtaking 31-year-old Hanoverian/Thoroughbred cross who stands an impressive 17 hands tall. Despite his size, he's a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Onyx adores his companions and can live happily alongside mares, geldings, minis, ponies, and even donkeys-always keeping a watchful eye over his herd.

This sweet boy was surrendered when his owner fell on hard times, and now he's looking for a loving retirement home where he can enjoy the golden years he so richly deserves. Onyx is excellent for both the vet and farrier, and he takes his daily Prascend for Cushing's with ease.

He would thrive with plenty of grazing time, some well-earned pampering, and good friends to share sunny afternoons with.

If you're looking to give a gentle, kind-hearted giant a forever home filled with love, Onyx just might be the perfect fit.

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org.
