Moxie is registered Quarter Horse mare born in 2008 and stands 14 hands. She was surrendered into our facility January 2023 due to financial reasons. <br/>Moxie is a sweet mare that requires an experienced person. She is smart and willing, knows how to lunge and has been consistently walking/trotting under saddle.<br/>Like your typical pony mare, she has days where she is lazy and will leisurely hack around the property, other days where she is an energetic dragon ready to leap over trot poles. Even when Moxie is having her more energetic days, she has not offered anything bad- no buck, rear or bolt. <br/>Moxie recently went off property to the horse park and was a good steed! She started in the ring to warm up, popped over a couple of cross-rails and then hacked out onto the xc fields. She was happy to lead or follow the other horse, and was unbothered when the other horse left.<br/>Moxie is an easy keeper, gets ration balancer twice a day and is turned out 24/7 with a run-in shed. She does best in an all mare field.<br/><br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
