Lucinda's Story
Lucinda is a 20-year-old bay, 15 hand Standardbred mare who recently returned due to her caregivers relocating. She is a sweet, thoughtful mare who appreciates a calm approach and takes a little time to feel fully comfortable with new handlers. Once she does, her gentle nature really comes through.

Lucinda has done well living out with other mares and mini horses. In the field, she can be a bit bossy at times, so she would do best with companions who are confident and respectful of herd dynamics.

Due to an old injury to her right hind, Lucinda is not sound for riding and is being placed as a companion-only horse. She would thrive in a home looking for a steady pasture mate and a kind presence rather than a riding partner. She is a relatively easy keeper who is used to field board 24/7.

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org.
