Lindsay - Lohanesberg's Story

This sweet little lady is Lindsay - 15hh bay TB mare. She has all the personality traits you would want in a mare; sweet, intelligent, and attention loving.

Lindsay has excellent manners, trailers well, ties, stands for vet and farrier, and gets along great with other horses. She came to us with no vision in her left eye, but it doesn't affect her in the day to day. We know she is a thoroughbred that did not race, but for a number of years prior to coming to Lollypop Farm, she had just been loved on as a pasture pal.

Currently being ridden walk/trot in the arena, this mare is green and has a motor, so she will require an experienced rider. She struggles tracking left, which may be due to her vision but we can't be sure. She doesn't seem spooky and loves to go - we could see her doing well as a trail horse with a friend nearby or on her blind side.

Even though she is rideable, we believe she would be perfectly happy continuing that pasture pal life. Lindsay would make a great companion to you or your equine friend. She has done well with both mares and geldings, and has a quieter comforting nature overall.

Suitable for an advanced rider or intermediate rider working with a trainer.
With no riding intended, suitable for a beginner and up.
Adoption Fee: $1500
