Kitty's Story

Kitty is a ~25 yo paint mare that stands 14.1 hands tall. Kitty is a sweet horse, does best in a herd with mares, and is middle of the pecking order.
She is well trained, and can w/t/c under saddle but is best for walk/trot 2-3 times per week. Kitty is a sensitive ride and can be forward, but quiet enough for an advance beginner. She has no bad or mean habits- no buck/rear/bolt, and does not bite or kick. Kitty is on daily Prascend for Cushings and wears a fly mask for uveitis.

Kitty has helped in our lesson and summer programs this past year and it is time for her to retire from a full program. Kitty does have some arthritis, and she is best to stick to simple walk/trot work a couple times a week. Kitty would love a low-key home where she can still stretch her legs and go for the occasional hack around the farm or ride in the arena.

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
