Kidd Stanton's Story
DOB~1993
Kidd has become a favorite of the LCR president and they have been working extensively together. Kidd is a lot of fun and very talented. He has participated in Natural Horsemanship training clinics. Kidd has been trail riding alone and with company and does very well if he is bonded with his rider. He still can become afraid when on trails alone, but easily over comes these fears.
He is quiet enough for an intermediate rider and would make a great low level hunter. He should not be jumped more than cross rails due to an inconsistency in his shoulders and gait.
He is not unsound, and this can only be felt when riding. He is very responsive and knows his cues well. He has been working a lot on lateral flexion and movement and learning quickly. He is ready to move on to the next level. Kidd should remain living outside with a run-in shed and is with a mare and another gelding, so he gets along with anyone and has no problems leaving his herd mates. He trailers well and takes a moment to get accustomed to his new surroundings, but will settle in nicely.
When Kidd is extremely tired or overworked he has gone to his knees, but gives you plenty of warning that he is falling asleep.

Last Chance Ranch is located in Quakertown PA.
All of our equines are placed within 3hrs. travel time from LCR to their new homes.

If you are more than 3 hrs. from LCR we will have to respectfully decline your application.
To see if you are within the distance limit please visit MapQuest---www.mapquest.com
You can download a placement application from our website at www.lastchanceranch.org, after entering the site click on the applications link on the left,
or you can send us your mailing address and we will send one out to you.

Thanks!
