Justice's Story
JUSTICE- 21 year-old ~15hh Standardbred mare- light pleasure riding (walk/trot) for confident advanced beginner to intermediate rider or companion horse

In January 2011, Justice was saved from New Holland auction, starving and in foal. She was pulled off an Amish truck since she would be at high risk for slaughter in her condition. Sadly, her filly, Astraea, was stillborn that April. Since 2011, she has been adopted out three times as a family horse, most recently to a home for nine years until her adopter passed away.

Justice is very sweet and loves attention. She has a calm and quiet nature and is good around children. Justice has been mostly out of work for a few years, so she needs a confident advanced beginner to intermediate rider to get her back into riding as she’s more woah than go.

Since she is now in her early 20s, we are seeking a home where Justice will only be lightly ridden (walk/trot only) or a beloved companion horse. Either way, HRU is seeking a committed, loving forever home where Justice can be well-loved during her golden years. Justice is barefoot and medication-free with no current health issues.

Available to an approved home with contract with a minimum 60 day trial period. Adoption fee $100 to a riding home. Adopter must be located within an eight (8) hour drive of Farmingdale, NJ OR the Lexington, Kentucky area. For more information or to request an application, please email lunar_aradia@yahoo.com.
