June's Story
June is a calm and introspective mare. She tends to bond deeply with one or two horses, but she’s equally capable of settling into any paddock and finding her place within a herd. She has been working hard on allowing us to catch her, and once caught has decent manners, though she does have anxiety when her friends leave her.

Physically, June shows signs of ringbone and chronic lameness, conditions that improve significantly with regular trims. Currently she is working on staying calm for trims, so we will be selective on potential homes who will continue to work on that with her.

June is a smart and willing horse who could be trained to do more, but with her off and on lameness she'd be equally happy as a pasture pal.
