Joleigh's Story
Joleigh
She is a 2 year old 1/4 Standardbred 3/4 Dutch Harness Horse, Bay filly. She currently stands 14:2-14:3hh. This little filly is super quiet and polite, she was shipped to a pen because the breeder had too many horses and she got the short end of the stick. Joleigh pastures with all horses with ease, she will also keep easy in a stall. She stands very quiet tied or in cross ties. She hauls nicely and loads with ease. Joleigh is current on deworming, farrier, and vaccines. She is fairly easy to catch and gets easier each time we handle her, once caught she is extremely respectful. She will be a nice girl to take in many directions.
We have a very strict no breeding contract, we also have a no backing contract on young horses, meaning ZERO rides until they are at least 3 years old. Our adoption fees reflect the current market, training, and costs involved with their rescue. If you’re interested in adoption, you will need to complete the HORSE adoption application and be prepared to do a video chat at the property where the horse will be residing. We will ask to see certain things and this is to ensure both the safety of our horses and the longevity of the adoption. Applications are online at www.lennnoxslegacyrescue.org
