Jasper

Jasper is a super cute senior pony who stands around 13 hands. He arrived to us a few months ago severely emaciated! With a consistent diet of high quality feed and hay, Jasper has steadily gained over 200lbs! He is starting to look and feel good! Jasper has very little teeth, so we will likely require a mashed feed and forage to help him maintain his weight. He does well out with geldings and is able to be on a grass pasture.<br/><br/>Jasper was previously in a summer camp program. We recently evaluated Jasper undersaddle. He was initially quick, but is starting to slow down with consistent work. He does not have any bad habits undersaddle - no buck, rear, or bolt. He would likely be ok with a confident beginner in a supervised environment.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine.
