Jasmine's Story
Meet Jasmine!

Jasmine found her way to CVAR in 2023 and was underweight and untouched. Since coming to CVAR she has shown massive improvements in terms of body condition and handling. She is halter broke and can be lead around. Once she knows you, she is easy to catch when turned out. She handles well for the farrier and will pick up all 4 feet. She came to us having had no hoof care done, but with consistent care, her feet have been improving. She now respects space, moves great with pressure, and stands well. She has been in a trailer before, but could use some more experience on loading manners.

Once she gets to know you, she is eager to please. Our animal care staff loves this mare, and we would love for her to find a forever home. She is up to date on vaccinations, dentals, and deworming. She will need an experienced home or a professional trainer to continue training.

In general, there is a lot of activity around CVAR. There is both vehicle and foot traffic in and around their pasture areas. They are desensitized to wheelbarrows and volunteers walking around them. There are llamas, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry and more that are coming in and out of their area as well.

If you are interested in this beautiful girl, please follow the link below to fill out our online adoption application.

Height: 15.2 hands
DOB: Estimated 7 years as of 6/2023
Sex: Mare
Color: Grey
Breed: Arabian
Type: Project horse

https://centervalleyanimalrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
